Filter is not working in edit-mode

My problem is that I want to delete a specific song in a large playlist. I enter edit mode of the playlist and then i try to use the filter function, but nothing happens when I click the search input field.

A work around could have been to first search the song and then use slide to delete, but it seems that this feature is removed (deleting songs can only be done in the edit mode as far as I understand). I'm using ios 1.7.1-version. I have done a re-installation.

I think the swipe to delete feature was removed becasue a lot of people were accidentally deleting songs from their playlists.

There currently isn't a way to filter in edit mode, but I have passed on this feedback. It really annoys me too.

Removing a feature is never a good solution. Improving it is better, like adding a confirmation after the swipe (just like the iOS mail have).
