Solved: Frequent crashes on iPhone 4s with iOS 6.0.1

So...what has happened to the iOS app?! It crashes during login, during playing music and whilst syncing playlists. The only thing that seems to work is the settings menu...but to be honest £9.99 a month for a slider noise ain't great value.

Has anyone got any good ideas for fixing this or is it a currently known issue?

Please don't tell me to delete and reinstall. I have done this so many times....and as you can probably tell, I'm a little fed up with it.
