Hide Unplayable Songs Turned On But Songs Still Showing

Hi,

I'm using Spotify 1.7.0 and when I select 'Hide Unplayable Songs' all of the songs are still there but greyed out.  I've tried deleting the app, rebooting the phone and then downloading an album and going back offline but it still shows all my music rather than just what's downloaded.  Any help would be appreiated.

Thanks,

Jamie

I don't know whether you might want to do this since its a small minor issue:

Pertaining your issue, that seems like it shouldn't happen given what you’ve described (I've tried on my end and it works perfectly fine), I guess your music cache is corrupted, kindly do a clean reinstallation following the steps below:

Click into your Spotify App -> Logout from Spotify (Spotify app Settings -> Logout) -> [If you are on premium and have songs that are on available offline, click here: https://www.spotify.com/sg-en/account/offline-devices/ and remove all devices -> Go to iPhone Settings, General, Usage and Delete the app -> Go to App Store and download the Spotify app again.

Hey Jeremy, thanks a lot for the reply.

I've tried going through everything you suggested.  In fact this what I did:

Deleted Spotify from everywhere I have it - Mac (including deleting the cache, iPad and 2 iPhones.  I then reinstalled it on one iPhone but I have the same problem.  I downloaded one album and waited for it to Download.  Then went into offline mode with 'Hide Unplayable Songs' turned on and my whole library was still viewable but the songs are greyed out.

I then started a completely new Spotify account in my wife's name and started a one month trial.  I did the same thing and saved an album but when I go into offline mode it is still there even though I haven't downloaded it to the device.

Seems weird that it's happening on both iPhones and on different accounts.  It should definitely completely hide anything not downloaded in offline mode right?

Pretty sure that option is just to hide music not available in your country
