How much space

I was using my iphone to 8gb to store offline synced spotify songs

but it nearly filles up.

So was wondering

How much space does it use ?in mb?

I have about 60 playlists and a lot of songs

and I dont think i can put all 60 playlists on a 8gb 

iphone 3gs right ? 

I am talking about 

making them all work offline

Here are my current settings

on my spotify premium ap

syncing is set to high

streaming is set to normal(recomended)

I would like to buy a new iphone

but need to know how much space 

to purchase.....

as the iphone can not be upgraded in space.
