How to undownload tracks but not remove them from my library?

Spotify iOS app version 8.4.49.364

I can't find a way to undownload a track that doesn't also remove it from my library.  In the player view if I uncheck the green checkmark, the track is undownloaded, but it is also removed from my library.  This is not what I want.  I just want to undownload the track and not alter my library.

I should add that I want to be able to do this on a track-by-track basis.

Is this even possible?  If not, then why not?

Hello! I’m afraid the only way to undownload a track is by undownloading where you downloaded it from. Say you downloaded it through an album, you would have to undownload that in order to have it off your phone. Sadly, there is no way yet to do it on a track by track basis
