I can’t find where I left off in an old podcast

My Question or Issue

Hello, toward mid/end of 2021 I listened to a critical roll Vox Mochina podcast while I worked. I listed to a lot of episodes but stopped somewhere in the mix. I’m trying to go back and find where I left off but Spotify says I didn’t listen to any of it. Is there any way I can see the history? Even if it’s just to tell me which # episode I was on.

While you cannot search for an item in your listening history, you can try these steps to find the episode:

1. Open the Spotify Desktop app
2. Go to the Podcast page and remove any filters to see all the episodes
3. Scroll through the episodes to find one with a progress bar (it might look like the screenshot attached below)
4. Play the episode with a progress bar to check where you left off.

If you did not leave in the middle of an episode, you can still look for a label that says “played” with a checkmark to see which episodes you completed. That could help you find the oldest unplayed episode.

Something else you can try in that case is downloading your data from your account page to see if you'll find more info there.

Is it also possible that you listened them on another Spotify account? If so, this article has some useful suggestions which can help you locate any secondary accounts you might have, so feel free to check it out as well.
