Can you give us a bit more info about your issue, we'll do our best to help out.

Do you get an indication that a song is playing, like the timeline changing at all, or are all songs just grayed out?

Can you play podcasts?

A good place to start troubleshooting is to do a clean reinstall of your app. This will assure that no app data is corrupted and causing the issues.
