I can't get local files to sync/play on my iPhone

My Question or Issue

 I can't get my local files from my desktop to sync/play on my iPhone. I've added them to Spotify on my desktop, created a playlist and put them in and marked this playlist as available online/downloaded. Half of the songs on this playlist show up on my phone but are greyed out and the other half don't show up at all. It says it's waiting to download but this seems to be stuck as it isn't actually downloading anything.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

Hi,

I tried both of those and it still will not work. I can't see any of the local files on my phone and even though I've clicked download it doesn't show it's downloading.

I'm using Spotify version 8.4.65 and iOS 11.4.1.

Actually, never mind...it took a few minutes but it did eventually download. Thank you!
