I can't play music offline on the IPod Touch with a Premium account

Hi

I am not sure what changed in the system, but I used to be able to play the music on my iPod Touch offline.

Ever since that login screen appeared in the app, it has failed to let me into the account when offline because I get an error message about needing to be connected to the internet (I use a FB login).  It's a bit of a circular argument if I am trying to access my account offline.  (I have also set it in offline mode in advance - knowing that I was geting on the train.)

In the past, this was a non-issue. So I am wondering. What changed?

Details:

iPod 5.1.1

Spotify premium account (though, now I have switched to Unlimited because I don't know when this will resolve).

Problem: Can't access the account offline when offline.

I am experiencing the same problem only with Spotify IOS4. 

After a week of daily e-mails and deleting, reinstalling, not able to sync my Ipod Touch via computer I am ready to dump the premium.  The offline used to work!  Then we used an Ipad and now neither works in offline mode.

Very frustrating.  I hope you can get an answer!
