I cannot log in to Spotify on my iPhone 6s

This all suddenly happened.
Everything was working just fine, the suddenly the app would not open. I deleted it from my phone and then downloaded it again.
When it came time to log in, I tried by logging in through Facebook and then by putting in my user name and password. Both did not work.
I can log in on my laptop, so I'm sure it's not my account but the app.
Every time I try to log on it was freeze then I have to ex out of the app and try again but the same thing will happen. Please help

so I kept trying logging in with my email and it wouldn't let me and I just tried using only my user name and it worked for me. hopefully it works for you!
