Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
Could you let us know what happens when you try pressing the green play button?
Additionally, we'd like to know if the issue happens only with one specific artist or with all content.
On another note, we'd recommend logging out and then logging back in two times in a row on your PC. It sounds a bit odd, but it forces a sync between the account and your device.

In order to better assist you, please don't forget to let us know if this issue happens with any artist you try to play or only specific ones.
Also, does the same happen in any device you use?
Lastly, can you log in with another account, such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persists? Alternatively, you can create a free account here, just make sure you're logged out of your own account before creating a new one.

Thanks for the reply.
We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.
If you still can't play any song or podcast on your main account after that, you might consider creating a new account and transferring your Library over. You can follow this Guide.
