I close the app, re-open app does not continue to play the most recent music/podcast

My Question or Issue

Whenever I close the app, upon re-opening it, the "playing" bar on the bottom is empty. I have to restart my playlist or podcast. Thought deleting the app and reinstalling it might help, but still the same issue.

If the "playing" bar on your app is empty after reopening, try these steps:

Update the App: Ensure you have the latest version.
Check Settings: Look for any playback settings that might affect this.
Restart Device: Sometimes a device restart can fix app issues.

Contact Support: If the problem persists, contact the app's customer support.

Just to confirm, is this happening across devices or only on a specific one?


You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?


If this doesn't do the trick, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your device to see if they can replicate this behavior with their account?
