I want list view back for playlists

iOS app: why has the view of my playlists suddenly  just like that changed from list view to grid view?  Scrolling through a playlist (“Liked Songs “) takes ages! There‘s no option to change that (i uninstalled and re-installed  the app already). I want an option to change view within a playlist.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

You can change the view of Your Library, from list to grid or vice versa. To change it, simply press on the icon on the top right:

You can check out this article made by one of our Stars for more info on how Your Library looks and works.

However, this changes the view of Your Library, not the view of the content inside your playlists. So we can better understand what you mean, could you send over a screenshot of how your playlists look? Additionally, let us know the exact make, model, and OS on your device, along with the Spotify version you have installed.

So we can see what you're seeing on your side, could you send a screenshot of how your playlists look?

Additionally, do you also have an iOS device? Let us know the make, model, OS version and Spotify version on it.

Did you get an answer? Scrolling through my playlists in the new gappy list view is pretty annoying.

I have the iOhone 1Pro Max, version 18.5. 

unfortunately, I can’t tell for the Spotify version, but i checked the App store for updates and uninstalled and reinstalled the Spotify app.

Yes, but no solution was proposed for the view inside the playlists. I attached screenshots for clarity to my answer (see on top). It seems we are not the only ones annoyed by this awful grid view — which makes no sense btw :))v

Thanks for the screenshots!

Can you check your phone's text settings, since it looks a bit zoomed and just to make sure that's not causing this? You should be able to do that in Settings > Display & Brightness > Test Size. You can also adjust the Bold Text setting to see if that makes a difference. Also, can you confirm if this only happens with your Liked Songs or if it's across all playlists? When it comes to the Spotify version, you can try to find it using these steps, since we want to make sure your app is up-to-date.

@M1ckyM00, it'd be great if you can you try the above as well, share your Spotify version and let us know if it only happens with the Liked Songs playlist.

i need the accessibility features as i am impaired and it perfectly worked fir the past 1 1/2 years and suddenly changed without me taking any action. As you can see from the comments, i‘m not the only one. 

this grid view appears in all playlists i have. 

my app version is 9.0.58.558

an option to change view inside of a playlist would be helpful. I didn’t changed any settings on phone, whereas Spotify must have changed something. Others in this thread have the sane issue, though. Thanks for quick fixing — this lowers the pleasure using Spotify dramatically

Are there any updates regarding the view within playlists?
I‘d like to  back to the ListView and no longer using the complicated GridView.

Is it finally possible now to change the view inside a playlist?
