IPad stops playing

Hello Folks...

Something strange occurs since a  month. When I go to bed I always take my iPad with me to hear Podcasts. Absolutely no Problem for years!

Now, Spotify stops Playing randomly, sometimes once, more often 3-4 times.

When I connect the iPad via Connect to my Marantz (LAN) this never happenes.

When it stops Playing, the WLAN is also gone and I have to restart it on my iPad.

When I use my S10 or my wife’s iPhone this does not happen once...

Of course I have deinstalled the App a few times, don‘t use the Facebook Account and restartet the Router. And, of course, nothing changed in my Setup for 5 years.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try a clean reinstall of the app? Just follow these steps.


If the issue persists try using Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline devices options from your Spotify account.


Also, make sure to have the latest iOS version, which currently is 12.4.1, installed.
