Iphone/Spotify volume too low

This may well have been discussed before, but I listen to tracks, downloaded onto an Iphone 6, through BOSE in-ear headphones.

The Iphone shows a volume level indicator which starts white, turns yellow, and then goes red.

The trouble is that, especially for classical music, the volume level is just way too low.  To give you an example, for some tracks, the yellow level would almost be inaudible even in a quiet room.  Turning it up all the way to maximum is just about OK.  As I tend to listen to music in quite loud environments, even turning up the volume to max is often not enough.

Don't know if this is a Iphone issue, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions.  I have already turned off the Volume Limit on the Iphone, by the way.

Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

Same issue

Spotify volume is utter rubbish. If I'm on train I can't even hear the music over the background noise. |EVEN with noise cancelling ear phones!

SORT IT OUT SPOTIFY or I'm gonn ahave to cancel my Premium sub. Literally cannot listen to anything on Spotify now.
