Listen offline - ipad, ipod and desktop

I cannot listen to the same playlist on 3 devices offline.  It looks like it only can be done one or the other.   The funny thing is when I select "available offline" in Ipod,   the download green arrow is not shown and songs do not get offline in ipod,  instead it shows in another device.

You may only play music on only one device at a time. This has been done to prevent multiple people using the same account.

Now, when you set the Available Offline on a device, songs should start getting downloaded in that same device.

What happens when you close Spotify on the other devices and activate Available Offline?
