Local File Will Not Play on iPhone 7, but plays on mac

I need a local file to play on my iPhobe 7. I have downloaded the playlist on my phone and on my mac. Both devices are on the same wifi network. I have allowed for sharing. The local file will play from my mac but not my phone. When using the app on my phone I can see the local file in the playlist, but when I click to play, it never will. What can I do to have this local file play on my phone asap?

This feature is in beta testing and hasn't fully launched yet according to Spotify. They made it sound like it doesn't work yet and they're just testing interest in the feature
