My Question or Issue

I have been using a private playlist and local files to add songs I'm currently editing to my phone for a few years. I usually would update the songs on my phone by un-downloading and re-downloading the songs, and it was extremely simple. However now in the past week, I've been unable to do this. I have been removing the download and resetting local files but all of a sudden songs I have not had downloaded in years all came back to my downloads. This is causing problems because it's causing my songs to not update, meaning I need to create an entirely new folder and edit the metadata for every song every time I want to update them, adding not only unnecessary time but confusion and clutter to my computer. If this is a bug I have been really struggling to figure out what's wrong, I've tried all the basic troubleshooting steps you would expect so please don't just tell me to redownload the app. I really need this fixed soon, it's causing a ton of problems and frustration and I haven't heard a single other person talking about it. Thanks in advance.

Local Files Cache: Clear the cache of Spotify on both your PC and phone. The cache might contain old song data causing synchronization problems. Consistent Network: Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network during synchronization. Spotify Playlist: Ensure the playlist containing local files is set to 'Downloaded' on your phone. Check Storage: Ensure sufficient storage on both devices. Spotify Version: Ensure you're using the latest Spotify version on both devices. Manual Transfer: If possible, try using another method (like using a USB cable) to transfer songs to your phone.
