Local file not showing up on iPhone

Hey guys,

I just bought a song on iTunes ("Purchased AAC") which is not available on Spotify, which I then added to Spotify via "Local Files">"Add to Playlist">"New Playlist." I then made sure that this new playlist, containing just this one song, was available for offline syncing ("Download" toggle on.)

I then checked my iPhone to see if it had synced. The new playlist does show up on my phone, and it tells me that it has one song. However, the file itself does not show up in the playlist, even though the Download toggle is on.

Both my MacBook Pro and my iPhone are connected to the same Wifi network.

Please help! This is very frustrating!
