Local files mix youtube not offline mobile

Hi guys,

So this is what im running into last few days. I have been trying to download a youtube music mp3 to my iphone on my spotify. Succesfully i have downloaded the file and placed in in one of my playlists in my spotify. However when i open the app on my iphone i cant play the local file mp3 offline because is won;t sync. AlthoughI i followed thoroughly the instructions of spotify how to sync local files to iphone but no magic happens... Furthermore I;ve tried several things like turning of firewall etc with no luck afterall... 

Hope some of u can help me out here, the file is like >200mb and the music file lasts like +-1,5 hour

(using norton macafee and also made norton allow spotify.exe, and mobile phone spotify app says:

"Availabe offline

waiting to download")
