Lock screen problem for latest version of Spotify with ios

With the latest version of Spotify (1.0.0.3251) with ios 7.0.4  in lock screen mode the track listing does not tally with the track playing and  there is a lag.  Is this a bug ?

The app is broken. Zero testing. Your lucky if that's your only problem with it. 

Sucks when you pay monthly for a service you can't use.
