[Mobile] Music playing automatically when I open app

I have the Spotify app on iOS, and lately whenever I open the app it will immediately start blaring whatever I was listening to last time, be it music or a podcast or what.

I’m tired of it and it honestly makes me use the app less.

Help’s here!

First thing you can try here is restarting your iOS device and logging out and back in to your Spotify account. Occasionally this is necessary to force a sync of info between your device and our account system.

If this doesn't help, try performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app. This will remove any corrupted data from previous installations that could be causing the issue.
