Most songs stop after 12 seconds, I have Spotify premium

If there's a song I want to listen to that I haven't heard before (discover weekly for example) it will maybe play 6-12 seconds of it or none at all before stopping; forcing me to play a downloaded song of mine. I want to be able to play whatever I want/ whenever I want especially if I'm paying for the service with premium. My data works fine on all other apps so I know it's not that issue. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app and restarted my phone. Please fix this issue because it's very frustrating to not get to play any song that comes to mind unless I'm in wifi
