Music keeps stopping on my iPhone

My music keeps stopping. Not pausing or a break in signal but it just stops and the only way to make it start again is to touch the cursor on the time elapsed bar at the bottom of the screen. I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine is doing this continuously as well. It started when I updated my phone to IOS 11.2 

I have deleted the app many times and even reset my iPhone but the issue continues. I believe this to be a Spotify issue and it needs to get fixed!
