Music pauses when I get notifications, specifically Snapchat

I know many other poeple have asked about this but I've tried most of what others are saying and it's not working for me. I have an iPhone X with the most recent 11.2.2 software update and Premium Spotify, however everytime I get a Snapchat notification the music pauses. Then once I press play, the music pauses again right after. Sometimes it just stops for no reason even when I didn't get a notifcation of any kind. The sound setting is turned off for Snapchat, I've turned my phone on and off, I've deleted Spotify, and a few other things, but nothing has worked. It's been like this for two months and it's incredibly annoying. I'm desperate for help...

I have the exact same issue. I emailed Snapchat and they replied. I will try to keep you updated if they reply with a solution 

edit: mine happens with Apple Music so I assume it’s an app issue because Apple did all they could
