Music stops cuts out

Okay so I have an Iphone8+ and ive had premium for well over a year. Just recently whenever I am plistening to music it will quit playing if I open another app (snapchat, instagram, twitter, etc.) or if im listening to music and even have spotify open on the screen while the music is playing it will cut out for a couple seconds and then come back in. As you can tell this is very annoying, so if there is anyone else who has had  this problem or has a way to solve it please let me know.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
