My first and second song never play right

So I don't have desktop Spotify. However I've been having trouble playing songs. (are you gonna be my girl, Alexander Hamilton, my shot and many more.) I've attempted re downloading the app and it just made it play the first song I try to play play for six seconds and stop. But if you try to go back to it, it no longer even tries to play. The second will play awhile longer but then have the same problem.
