New Releases playlist in browse not updating

New Releases playlist in browse not updating

The Spotify New Releases album playlist that updates every Friday has stopped doing so. Found under the browse tab. Have travelled recently if it could have gotten confused with countries and licensing etc? Any suggestions?

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I have tried restarting and reinstalling.
Hasn’t helped but may also be worth waiting until Friday and see if it
updates this week as usual.
I am on Spotify version 8.5.25.760 and iOS 13.1.1. Only just updated iOS
but have had the issue with previous version and current. Same problem on
desktop version though so I’m guessing more account related than device?

Could you also try using the Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline Devices to see if it shakes things up?

 

Let me know if they do update on Friday.
