Description
Spotify on my iPhone kept crashing when I opened it, possibly because I had updated the folders for my playlists on my computer and it didn’t seem to be able to synchronise them properly. I deleted and reinstalled the app several times but now it opens and seems to freeze for about 3 minutes and then crashes out.

No, the app just freezes and crashes
Spotify iPhone iOS5 is NOT working well.
Each time a new song queus in a playlist, it takes MINUTES to begin playing. Sometimes fast-forwarding to another song makes it start faster, often not.
I also get the circle going around and around a lot when I search.
Is the app going to get fixed soon? I'm a premium member, and won't continue to pay for this level of frustration.
I waited patiently for a month or more for the app update to come out before I complained, but the update came out and didn't provide a fix for these problems. I'm fed up.
Description
I've never had any issues with Spotify until now. I made a playlist, made it "available offline" on my iPhone 4s. As soon as i go to the playlist, select a song, it stops after playing 24-26 seconds of that song. Other times i get the "the song is not available in offline mode" message.
A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Updated to the current release on App store
2. Selected a song from a playlist that i've made available offline
3. The song starts, but then stops 24 seconds into the song
4. I've already tried resyncing the songs over wifi, deleting and reinstalling the app. And changing my password, the result is the same.
What I expected to happen
That the playlists i've made available offline, actually are available offline. Its the only reason i actually pay for this service.
What actually happened
The song stops after 24-26 seconds played. happens to all my playlists.

I think my description covers it all. a screenshot of the song stopping at 24 seconds does not seem neccessary.
Description
Power usage: half an hour of listening to an off-line playlist heavily impacts my battery life, and I can't make it through the day without a recharge. I am not set to stream via 2G/3G.
A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Synchronised an album for offline playing.
2. This album was synchronised at 'extreme' rather than normal.
I can repeat this experience listening to tracks that were synchronised to Spotify from my computer, rather than downloaded from the Spotify cloud.
The same tracks, when played through the iPod app do not drain the battery.
What I expected to happen
Gentle battery drain, as when the iPod application is used.
What actually happened
Heavy/unusable battery drain.

Description
The track information on my iPhone 4 lock screen does not update. From the point I open Spotify, select a playlist and then lock the phone, the information on the lock screen will update once (i.e. track 2 will show correctly) and then from track 3 onwards the details for track 2 remain on the screen.
I use my iPhone to play Spotify over my car hi-fi via Bluetooth anf the information on the car hi-fi mirrors that on the lock screen, so it is also incorrect.
A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Open the Spotify app
2. Select a playlist
3. Play track 1
4. When track 2 starts the track info on the lock screen updates
5. When track 3 or later starts the track info does not update and continues to show track 2 info.
6. If I unlock the phone and go into the Spotify app, this will usually start the process again, so if the playlist has reached, say, track 5 then the lock screen will display track 5 data, then update when track 6 starts and then it will stick on track 6 thereafter.
What I expected to happen
Track data should update according to the track being played.
What actually happened
See above.

Why cant i hear the music i starred, or anything i can only hear at local files.
Is there any problem on spotify again?
Spotify Premium is required for on-demand mobil streaming. Its free to stream on desktop. Why do i get that?
I get the message about i need to be an premium.
When i already am a premium........
I keep try to log on and off but im still offline!
As much as it pains me to do this, I've found the only way to be able to properly escalate issues internally is to show numbers of users experiencing one issues.
The only way to enable this is to have individual threads for individual issues, independent of the Spotify version.
Long story short: I'm locking this topic.
Please use the search function to see if someone else has already reported the same issue you are experiencing.
If you do find an existing topic, please go in there and post your details.
If your issue was not yet reported, please start a new topic.
And please keep in mind; whenever you post about an issue it really helps if you include as much information as possible. I have updated the iOS troubleshooting topic to reflect all the information we can use to try and resolve issues.
In that topic I have also linked to another one that deals specifically with connection issues.
