The latest iOS Spotify update for iPhone is horrible in making playlists. This just started yesterday but was fine the day before and I don’t have automatic updates set to on. The app now has a separate section when creating playlists called “Saved In”which makes it impossible to maneuver the page let alone find the playlist you’re attempting to add it to.
It was easy before and right there and now one had to scroll and hope it pops up, often it does not and I have to search for it when it was already there as recent before which was the norm.
I have tried recents, recently added and so forth but should already be there for recently added but when adding a song to such a playlist it’s not there, the new, highly annoying and quite useless “saved in” section hinders making a playlist easy as it once did. Who cares what playlists it’s in, jf you’re going to completely decorate the screen in sections. Horrible.
This clearly is a part of some new in app update which is odd being I’ve automatic updates and in app updates always disabled. To make sure it wasn’t a weird bug, I uninstalled and deleted. Re-installed and the problem still persists.
Clearly, it’s a very stupid new design update which I never had before until yesterday. I never updated it or allowed an update so this is quite odd. It’s sadly part of a crappy new design but why so many a week? There wasn’t even a notification to update. No warning, nothing. It didn’t come from me.
I’d like this gone as I didn’t approve or download it but it’s now part of the iPhone app which was bad enough before. This is impossible to maneuver to enjoy making them. Please scrap the annoying “saved in” section which is now a completely separate part of the page when attempting to add a song to a new playlist,
It is beyond annoying and unnecessary. It also makes it rather useless bothering now and I didn’t have automatic updates enabled. Can this be fixed for normal users? It’s terrible.
I’m a premium member attempting to merely make playlists and now I have to maneuver way down the screen to bypass the new, useless “saved in” section to merely add to a playlist. Please fix this or I’ll just quit. It’s so unnecessary with all these weekly updates.
This is easily the worst outside of the recently moved and hard to use clear cache where offline downloads are. Please get rid of “saved in” so it’s easy to make playlists again or have old versions available for the iPhone app to revert to normal. This is **bleep** ridiculous and horrible in every form.
