New version of spotify really drained my battery (ios)

My Question or Issue

I’m running spotify 8.5.60.881 on my iphone se right now and I noticed that it really drained my battery. It was like every 3 minutes my battery percentage lost 1% and it took up like 60% of battery usage, which seems crazy to me. Previously I used it on my iphone6 in an older version, it took only 30%, never over this. When I tried updating the app on my iphone 6 and try using it again, i found the same problem, my battery was gone 1% every 3-4 minutes. Anyone has any help?
