No keyboard when searching inside playlist

When I am inside a playlist of the iPhone Spotify app, I can't search. When I click in the filter box at the top, the keyboard appears briefly but when the screen finishes updating, the keyboard disappears. If I double click my home button and switch to another app then do it again to switch back to Spotify, the keyboard is sometimes there as long as I was on the filter screen when I switched out of the app.

I can search from the search screen by clicking the magnifying glass without issue. That searches the whole database so it's not a good solution. On an Android phone I can search within a playlist fine. I think this started happening in the last few months.

Same here. I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus with SwiftKey keyboard.

Very annoying, function just doesn't work.

I have the same issue on iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.3.

SwiftKey works fine in the global search, but not when searching in a playlist. When I click the search bar SwiftKey appears briefly, but then dissapears. The cursor stays in the search bar and the playlist grayed out ( see screenshot ).

Instead of going to another app, I just jump to global search, where SwiftKey works fine, switch to the built-in iOS keyboard and go back to my playlist to search (see the second screenshot ). It's still very annoying to have to go through this workaround everytime I want to find a song in my playlists.global search
