No seamless playback - automatic crossfade?

When I play opera (example: Mozart's Nozze di Figaro with Solti conducting), there appears to be automatic crossfade between tracks, so that there are dropouts in what should be a seamless rendition.

I have checked: my crossfade is set to 0.

Is there a solution to this?

Actually, it's not so much a crossfade as the loss of the last few seconds of the track.

It makes no difference if I am streaming or playing from a downloaded playlist - the last few seconds are missing.

Help?
