Not Autoplaying Next Song IOS 11.2.1

I've googled this but the threads on here are unnavigable.  Lots of people just saying they have the same issue.  There was one thread that purports to have "solved" the issue (this one: https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Spotify-iOS-app-not-playing-the-next-track-automati...) but when you click "go to solution" it takes you to a post that just describes the issue in more detail.  There's no solution.  Who is updating these forums?  This is nonsense.

Is this the only support spotify offers?  Is there not a live chat or something?  

Never had an issue with this before but it start today, after I updated by iPhone 7 to IOS 11.2.1.  It just doesn't autoplay the next song and there's no changing of settings on spotify that help.  I pay for premium (although maybe not for much longer.)

Hi hun, ive been having the same issue!

i went to 'your library' > 'settings' (the gear wheel) > playback.

autoplay was already turned on but i diabled & enabled again.

do the same as above with 'gapless playback'

lastly i increased the 'crossfade' to 3 secs.

This seems to be solving the issue...for now!

it was so frustrating, i'd waste skips getting the next song to play
