Offline Mode Stops working when I'm on the Subway

Hi, My prior version of Spoify worked great, but one of the recent upgrades seems to have changed behavior. I'm a premium subscriber.  I have multiple playlist selected to be available offline.  When I am outside of Internet connectivity and launch Spotify, it kicks me out of what ever playlist it may have been on an prompts me for login...when i was already logged in when i was online prior.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

same here. also it states that i can't login and should disable offline mode. great suggestion for an ipod

There is a massive topic on this issue here.

A suggested work around is to visit this page and create a device password. You can then use this username and password to sign into Spotify on your mobile device instead of Facebook, which should let you have offline playback. 

I don't have an iPhone to test this on, so all I can do is cross my fingers for you!
