Offline listening if I downgrade to free version

If I change my subscription from Premium back to the free version, do I still retain the tracks I have already downloaded to my device for offline listening or are they deleted in some way?

Hi @Biffta999 and welcome to the community.

If you downgrade to the free version, you will not be able to put Spotify into offline mode which means that you will not be able to play songs that you have downloaded.

When you download a track in Spotify, you are not downloading an MP3 but an encrypted file so to free up your storage, you would need to clean your cache, this can be done from within the Spotify app itself.
