Phone Crashing from Spotify Use

My phone has been crashing and occasionally restarting when I play music using Spotify.  The iOS on my 5s iphone is up to date.  This is the second time that I've had to restore my phone within a week, and I've been told that it isn't a battery issue by two different phone places.  Supposedly it's a software issue.  How can I tell if it really is Spotify that's causing my phone to crash?

Can you let us know which versions of iOS, and Spotify you're using?

Also, do any of the below steps help:

- Head to https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/, and click 'Remove All'. (This will mean re-downloading your offline synced songs afterwards, but it should help).
- Reinstall the app.
