Playback Issues (Bass lowers when vocals are sung/spoken)

My Question or Issue

I’m having issues with the bass and volume when playing music on Spotify in my car.

When I am listening to my music, when vocals are sung/spoken it will lower the volume of the music and bass which is so annoying.

this issue is not my phone or car as I have resulted in listening to music through Apple Music and the problem does not exist.

please help me so I can get back to listening on Spotify!

Hey @Angelo1995,

Thanks for getting in touch. Could you try reinstalling the app just to make sure it's up to date? You might have to download any music you've saved offline again. 

If that doesn't help, go to Settings and switch on "High quality streaming" and "Set the same volume level for all songs" and let us know if it makes any difference.
