Hi @Rooje, thanks for writing!

What devices are you using? Does it happen in all of them?

Also, does it happen to all albums or just some?

Has this issue started after a specific event?

The more the details you give, greater the chances we have to solve this 🙂

How about y'all stop acting like this is a new issue and frigging fix it????

What devices are you using? Does it happen in all of them?

iPhone SE, iPhone 11

Also, does it happen to all albums or just some?

More and more and only when offline as soon as I switch online the issue is solved.

Has this issue started after a specific event?

I cannot recal, but over the period of 2 months it got worst.

Thanks for the help!

This is an issue that we've been trying to get Spotify to do something about for most of this month. They keep saying its fixed, sending us on wild goose chases. Customer service had me delete my whole account and restart...still a problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app about 5 times. Had my iOS software patch since then. It all comes down to Spotify's app and/or their servers handling of the files when you download them. At any rate, it's in their court and they refuse to even acknowledge it and will instead opt to gaslight those who want the problem solved.

Hey @Rooje,

Thanks! Can you also let me know what Spotify version you're running?

This issue was fixed recently, please check bellow:

This issue was not fixed.  Multiple people still have problems, hence the numerous posts!  It's still not working for me this morning.

Hiya Bittencourt,

My version is 8.5.54.1127.
Today I got an album working for me.

At it is kinda random, this might help.

Other users that replied: thanks for sharing guys! Let’s hope we can get to the bottom of this, the more post, the more it grabs the attention 😉

Ok @Rooje,

Can you please update your app to the latest version and let me know if the issue remains?

Nice one, it seems to be fixed, testing with some of the albums I knew didn’t work before.

I will keep you posted as I will test in the usual situation as well (on my bikeride to work)

Many thanks @Bittencourt!

this ain’t fixed. I thought it was with the last update. But no. It’s still not working. I’ve posted a video of the issue below. (Or at least I would have because .mp4 files are not allowed, but are allowed? what? Instead it's a zip file, which as the .mp4 allowed, that i'm not allowed, but am allowed to upload error shown also)

Before I launch the app (which I hadn’t force closed) I was playing the album on repeat. As you can see when you look the repeat icon has the dot by it but look at the playlist and only one song is there. If I then select the song again and go back to the playlist then the rest of the album populates. This only started happening in the last month or so. Quite frankly it’s driving me nuts. Especially when driving when it’s not easy to fix. Honestly if not fixed by July when my current half price offer expires I will be shifting to Apple Music! Its that annoying!

Hey there @ensignvorik!

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed reply.

Could you let us know your Spotify version if your your issue still persists?

We can also recommend a clean reinstall that includes removing your stored cache because that might be causing trouble.

Keep us posted on how it goes! We'll be here if you have any other questions.
