Playback stops when sending voice message in Whatsapp

Hello

When I try to send a voice message  or listen to one in Whatsapp and music is playing in the background, the playback stops and Whatsapp freezes. This only happens with Spotify (tested with iTube and the Music App).

Happens on iOS 7 and 7.1 and with the newest versions of Whatsapp and Spotify (0.9.4).

Am I the only one experiencing this bug?

It happens to me too. Except for the part of whatsapp freezing. I wish playback wouldn't stop when I send a voice note. Sometimes I wanna send a little piece of the song I'm listening to through a voice note but i can't.
