Playing through one device and stops even though other isn't playing

Hi guys,

 

I am have a reoccuring issue which is starting to bug me. When I am playing a song, say through my laptop, even though I'm not currently playing on another device, it stops playing and says that another device is playing therefore I have to click play again.

 

As one can imagine, whilst enjoying one song and a sudden stop occurs, it is quite frustrating.

 

Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi Alex.

 

You may have had your account hacked. I suggest logging into your Spotify account via the web then go to account overview and sign out of everywhere. Sign back in then click on change password and choose a new, more secure password.

 

If that doesn't solve the problem contact Spotify asap.
