Playlist Grid Not Updating When Sharing to Instagram Story

Playlist Grid Not Updating When Sharing to Instagram Story

When sharing my playlist to Instagram stories, the 4-image grid is showing artwork from songs that were removed months ago. To be clear, I am not trying to share custom art, which isn't a current feature. I just want the Instagram story graphic to reflect what's actually on my playlist.

Hey there @wesdavenport

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!

We're afraid that the artwork that shows up for the playlists that you add to Instagram stories displays the first 4 album covers that were added to your playlist. This would explain why you don't see the album covers of any new tracks you've added to that playlist.

Since you mention that those songs were removed, you could try creating a new playlist and adding the songs of which you'd like the album covers to be on the artwork, then copying all the songs from the other playlist.

Hope this helps clarify things. If you have any questions or need anything else, we're always a post away.

Cheers.
