Playlists not updating on iphone

I've recently done a nice overhaul and organized a lot of playlists into playlist folders on my desktop app. The folders show up on my mobile app, but all of the playlists in the folders won't seem to update. I've tried reinstalling, logging in and out, deleted a lot of songs from 'my music' thinking it was a space issue. Nothing has worked so far. Some playlists are showing up, just not all. I just want my mobile playlists to be the same as my desktop playlists because it was hard to organize all of that! Thanks.
