Playsists: New problem with Spotify 1.0.0 along with iOS 7.1

Playsists: New problem with Spotify 1.0.0 along with iOS 7.1

Finally having found out that the huge "Random play" butten doesn't effect my premium subscriber status I have encountered a new problem:

Every time I'm using radio and try to add a song to one of my playlists the screen I am taken to won't react to any touch action.

Radio keeps playing but I can't even return from that screen, let alone add the song to the desired playlist.

Hey and welcome to the Community!

Have you tried reinstaling the app?

I am using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1 and Spotify 1.0 and I do not have that problem.

Try reinstalling and come back to share the results 🙂

okay, thanks. I'll give it a try. I'm using it on an iPhone 4S but the periphery is the same.

I'll let you know about the result.

I think I've found the reason now.

It doesn't help me with my problem but at least it makes sense.

It seems to be a memory issue.

I found out it still works with the first tracks that are playing.

My problem is that I listen to radio when a go to bed and fall alsleep with spotify running.

When I wake up to a tune that sounds interesting I try to add it to the playlist so that I can explore the artist's output the next day.

It seems that when spotify has been rumming for 4 hours or more, there's not enough free ram on my iPhone left to make the GUI react properly.
