My Question or Issue

I listen to a lot of podcasts and lately they’ve been skipping like a cd would when it had a scratch. It’s happened across multiple podcasts, so it seems like an overall Spotify issue. It’s cutting off things that people are saying and rewinding doesn’t fix it. It’s also happening a lot more frequently now and it’s very disrupting to trying to enjoy the podcast

This type of issue, when playback isn't working properly, is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process will replace all damaged files and ensure you're running the latest version of the app.

If the issue persists, since we couldn't replicate it on our end, would you mind including the link/URI of one of the affected podcasts to take a better look?

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

So far deleting and reinstalling the app seems to have resolved this problem! Thank you! I am enjoying listening without the skips 😊
