Podcasts play in reverse order

My Question or Issue

I’ve seen a post regarding this however it does not fix my problem. When I listen to podcasts, it always plays the previous episode. It does not matter how I sort the podcast. Am I missing something? Every other post on this topic makes the solution put to be a simple as setting the sort order. Oldest first, youngest first = no difference.

Hey! Tab on the episode, top right corner menu than “go to podcast” that follow that podcast. In your shows now you can tab a menu again and select the play order!
