My Question or Issue

For some reason, the iPhone app is not reliable in resuming podcast episodes at the exact position I paused listening. It's usually several minutes behind at least, resulting in annoyances skipping around the track to find where I was. This has happened to me a handful of times now with the launch of JRE on Spotify.

Anyone else experience the issue or know how it could be resolved? I've re-installed the app but I've experienced it again with a fresh install.

Hey there @CaseZero,

Welcome to the Community!

Apologies for the delayed reply. We just came across this thread.

If you're still having this issue, we recommend you perform a clean reinstall. This is a bit different than a normal reinstallation as it involves deleting the app data as well. You can have a look at this guide for the device relevant steps. If you're using more than one device regularly, it's a good idea to reinstall the app on all of them. Note that any Offline songs will have to be redownloaded.

Let us know if that helped. We'll be on the lookout for your replies 🙂
