My Question or Issue

we have a Family premium account. I manage the account from my Laptop.

Successfully, we have integrated my wife on a iPhone 6.

I want to integrate also my son with iPhone 4 (iOS 7.x). This does not work. As I send the link to the iPhone 4 and open it in the Safari browser, the message "Es ist ein Problem aufgetreten" translated "There is a Problem. Try again later" appears in the browser. (see attachment).

So -

we cannot integrate my son into the Family plan...

That is really annoying...

Who can help??? Pls???

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Please, send your son a new invite link from your Family page at www.spotify.com/account/family

 

Make sure to open the link to join the Family plan in an incognito/private window of your browser.

To accept the invite, your son needs to log in to his own Spotify account.

thanks, but this is not the solution.

This worked with my iPhone 6 well.

BUT it  does not work with my son's iPhone 4.

What is the solution?

In this case, I'd recommend using a different device to accept the invite. 

Make sure to use incognito mode as well, to make sure no one else is logged in and no Spotify cache are in use. 

After joining the Family plan, your son will be able to use his credentials and log in to any device. 

 

Keep in mind that there are age restrictions that might be causing this issue. You can find them in the first part of Terms and Conditions of Use
