Recent update broke Waze/carplay integration UI

My Question or Issue:

A recent spotify app update made the waze UI banner not show up on my phone anymore. It's there but under the notch on some spotify screens, but not there at all on the now-playing screen. Any timeframe on an update?

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Same after rebooting and reinstalling app.

spotify version 8.4.96.934
