Reinstalled app and won't download or connect when on wifi

My Question or Issue

My downloaded songs were not playing unless I was connected to wifi. So I deleted the app, updated the system hardwear, reinstalled the app now it will not load any of my playlists, home page or search function. I have a paid subscription for premium and I cannot get my account to work on any device connected to the wifi or not.

It'd be helpful to try logging in with a different Spotify account to check if it's an account-related issue. If it works with another account, you can follow the steps in this Spotify Answer next. 

 

It's also a good idea to log in to your Spotify account on another device just to check if you observe the same. If it doesn't occur on a different device, we'd suggest making sure that your original device is up to speed with any software updates available.
